Dr. Kostovski was invited by the partnering organization BASME, to be a special guest of the National Coordination Board for Corporate Social Responsibility and to deliver a lecture on good governance of companies in a supply chain.

Special emphasis was on the need for achievement of sustainability of this and similar initiatives for networking. In these terms, Ninko Kostovski suggested that the newly established Center for education in tourism include not only programs on technical expertise for various jobs and managerial posts in hotels, but also programs in entrepreneurship and similar topics, having in mind that the majority of the entities in the tourism and the related services in all three countries, are small or family businesses.
The First International Conference and Forum on Networking in Tourism brought together representatives from Serbia, Macedonia and Greece. Among the distinguish guest were Ms. Penelope Danu, executive manager of the Institute of Cultural Corridors of the Council of Europe and Ms. Emanuela Panke, Secretary General of Iter Vitis, Cultural and Wine Routes. Participants agreed on the importance of cross border cooperation of the countries in the region.
Ninko Kostovski and Jadranka Mrsic, took part on the XIV Symposium of the Association of Accountants of Republic of Macedonia, held in Struga, November 16, 2012, where they presented a paper titled “The Effect of the introduction of the International Standards of Financial Reporting for a National Economy. The Current State of the Affairs in the Republic of Macedonia“ prepared together with our alumnus, Valentina Jankulvska, MBA.

European Entrepreneurship Week, Skopje, November 2, 2011
The European SME Week 2011 is organized by the European Business Association (EBA) and the Ministry of Economy.
Several events and workshops were held in Skopje, Bitola and Veles. On the first of this series, dedicated to the Innovation, one of the panelists was Dr. Ninko Kostovski.

Cluster Performance Management Forum, Skopje 19.10.2011
Dr. Ninko Kostovski participated on the Round Table organized by the Ministry of Economy on the need for development of Indicators for performance measurement of active and potential clusters in Republic of Macedonia, as well as on drafting the process for accreditation of clusters associations in the country.
On this international forum, presented were experts from EU (Hungary, Slovenia and Germany) and local experts from the institutions of higher education, local government and research institutions.
Dr. Ninko Kostovski was panelists on the Conference held by the Macedonian Ministry of Economy on the issues of cooperation between the institutions of higher education and the metallurgical sector in the areas of financing and innovation. The proceedings from the Conference will be used by the Ministry of Economy in design and fine-tuning of the measures for interventions in this important sector of the national economy.
